You guys have to get rid of the one-hour posting limit Anonymous 04/16/2025 (Wed) 05:14:42 Id:32eba6 No. 652
It's unfair to NEETs like me who have nothing better to do than post ponies all the time! (in all seriousness though, if /mlp/ really is gone for a while or potentially for good it's probably just a good idea in general what with all this new traffic)
>>652 I agree. I need my pony engagement to be at a maximum at all times.
>>652 It's not a hard limit, you just need to get a new bypass. The limit has been increased from 15 per hour to 25 per hour and I may increase it further. We are slowly adjusting to the new levels of activity.
>>666 Thanks Satan. Hopefully the traffic doesn't slow down. This place is very comfy.
>>666 How are you feeling about the sudden influx and activity? Are we being overwhelming?
>>666 >you just need to get a new bypass After I post something the captcha thing disappears and I can’t post anything else unless I go into the site’s cookies and delete the bypass. Which is kinda tedious. Can’t you just get rid of it?
>>668 It's been a bit of a surreal feel seeing this level of activity on the board. >>670 When better matched to the board's posting speed, the bypass can be preferable. I've increased the bypass limit to 40, which should not be hit in the hour given the post cooldown. I've also adjusted the post captcha to only show up when greater than 100PPH.
>>668 Is there a way for some faggots with expendable income to donate to assist with the extra server load?
>>733 Not currently. I think we are handling okay with the current setup.
>>734 Well, I would consider it in the future is site traffic stays up and doesn't dwindle. It would be nice to have higher file size limits. If it's a worthwhile endeavor people don't got a problem giving money. a couple 10 dollars a month goes a long way in the world of small server hosing.
