I've been summoned by the ghost of scruffy for his dead capcha Anonymous 04/16/2025 (Wed) 22:48:30 Id:a6cd32 No. 681
Trying again after this faggot ass captcha limit has passed? To my secret stalker~ I'm glad you learned how to communicate in something besides symbols. I'm on brave, Windows, Desktop. The capcha is in a half-broken state at best, it will constantly say it's wrong even when it's right. This is a consistent complaint across the site, and offsite about nhnb even when resident schizos are claiming it's all one guy. Sometimes it doesn't even load anything at all, no matter how many times you push reload the capcha is just a broken file. The site has a full-retard flood detection, since you have to load capcha more than once since it's broken, this will set off the flood alarms. And then when I get WARNED to post in /qa/ I couldn't even do that earlier with bug after bug after bug.
>>681 I suspect the volunteer was trying to write >>>/qa/ in the first image. As for the captchas, I thinking this is related to the captcha pool size, which I have increased. So hopefully that helps. If the captcha doesn't load, refreshing the page usually fixes it. I'm guessing you're talking about posting a thread? I've been increasing limits for posting, I'll have to see what current limits are for threads. Do keep in mind that there is a global thread rate limit as well (which has also been increased).
>>686 >killing your dead site with pointless anti spam measures
>>686 You know you can just implement these measures when we are being raided..... which does not happen a lot anyway whats your excuse for keeping these measures in place?

>>749 If you wait until after it happens, then it's already too late to be effective. But the more day to day application is to reduce the amount of bots that get through. Which has been an issue in the past (pre-captcha).
