Pony Dreams? Anonymous 11/22/2021 (Mon) 11:52:48 No. 5450
Does anyone else feel Princess Luna on the edge of their dreams? Like in the last seconds of the dream, right before I wake up? It's just been third time this month for me. In all three, my own form is poorly defined. The first one was a vague pony dream. I had no senses per se, but I know that Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were there, as well as some others. I could talk to them. I do feel Luna's presence at the end. The second one was old memories, as in from a younger age than most of my dreams, but heavily randomised. In the last part, there was something actively opposing Luna. It was making explicitly described violent hostile threats toward her. The third started as a pony dream, cuddling with some mare I didn't recognise. I fall asleep with her, then false awaken in a human dreamscape. My first thoughts are concern for the no longer present mare. Then I see that there are at least one adult and four children, possibly more of each, in some park. Two of the children are in some cartoon character costume I don't recognise. At least other two are playing with toy magic wands. I'm still worried for the vanished mare, and I can't tell these characters about it. I begin defying the dreamscape. I just start moving in one direction. The location quickly becomes a rather crowded downtown city. I come to a building with two lines of people standing in front of service windows. I defy this too, and walk straight through the solid looking wall between the two windows. The dreamscape disappears and I feel Luna's presence again before really awakening. So anyone else have any pony dreams they want to share?

Last night's dream: >be in a big department store that sells pony related stuff as well as fishing and boating supplies >there's a giant 100 foot tall Sea Swirl animatronic in the middle of the store >Sometimes she rears up and does the kicky hooves, other times she reaches her head down and munches on grass in front of her >There's also a path up her hoof and into a room in her head where you can look out her eyes >sometimes some tribal people would come along to worship Sea Swirl as the "ocean mommy"

Had a dream recently were Twilight was singing, (and really well too) only part I remember well was her saying "by the horrific Discord" who popped out of an evil looking swirly purple portal in the sky and then launched himself at Twilight hugging her while saying her name in his usual happy manner, Twilight kept singing joyfully as this happened but I can't remember the rest of the lyrics; I feel like Discord did something to save Equestria and got an actual proper redemption arc, but did it in a messed up Discord sorta way. It all kinda felt like the ending of a movie, with an absolute banger music number at the end. >>28140 >sometimes some tribal people would come along to worship Sea Swirl as the "ocean mommy" They sound like a fun bunch of feather heads. Trying to picture a giant 100 foot tall Sea Swirl statue and I gotta say, I wouldn't mind seeing one of those for real, even without her being able to move.

>>24699 as a quick rundown: I'm approaching this in a Jungian perspective. Typically dream analysis is done over the course of months, where a therapist would be learning a lot about the real-life context of the dreams and could pick up on recurring, significant patterns. The general purpose of dream analysis is to bring up the whole character of the analysand, beyond just their conscious attitude and persona. So typically dream analysis is meant to reveal what your mind is working on, and where it's going. The same sort of analytical process can be applied to fiction, to analyze the author. >Luna The waifu is in part a representation of the anima, which in very brief words is the feminine, relational aspect of a man's personality. Luna is a strongly archetypal pony associated with other feminine symbolism like nighttime, the moon, magic, sleep, etc. Her friendliness and helpfulness is a sign that you are open to those feminine qualities, which is good. I'd bet without her, you'd never come to this dismal setting, or be at ease enough to accomplish your tasks. >mismatched ruins at night this is interesting. Especially how the factory/powerplant aspect is mixed in with the more homey, classical stuff. It seems like you're describing that bits from all of these settings were mixed up in the same rooms - it wasn't like, this room is a palace, this room is a manufacturing plant. The age of the setting and the abandoned atmosphere usually suggests either an archetypal "timelessness", or some aspect of yourself that has been left behind. I'm inclined to interpret it as the latter, because this jumbled-up furniture suggests some confusion or undifferentiation, indicative of undeveloped childhood stuff, or perhaps just hazy and half-remembered. The night emphasizes the theme of barely-conscious content, suffused with mystery and shadow. The power-plant/manufactory motif is worth considering as a masculine, productive theme, but I think I'd need more context to say for sure - perhaps it will come to you in another dream. >catching ghosts in a jar Very often, as we grow, we learn to adapt by discarding parts of ourselves; and in that process, we throw out too much, the baby with the bathwater. The ghosts show that when the ruins were left behind, a part of your soul, so to speak, died, and now they remain haunted by a kind of life. You're coming to this derelict place in order to catch these ghosts, and thus we can say that the ghosts represent something of value (a part of your soul) that you will be taking back to your present, conscious life. Yet still, the ghosts are in jars - I would say this is a good thing, because you wouldn't want those cold ghosts free to wreak havoc closer to home! In Jung's essay on The Spirit in the Bottle, where an evil spirit must be trapped in a bottle to transform it into a good one, it's clear that bottles are vessels of transformation, like the alchemical alembic, where something may be observed and processed in order to bring out its good qualities. I think one could safely say that there is a process to transform those ghosts into life-saving fairies, so to speak.
>>28325 Thanks, Anon. This made a surprising amount of sense. Putting it all together it is like: I need Luna to help me search the discarded ruins of aspects of my life, or character, or psychology, for the pieces of my soul that where lost when those things were discarded. I need Luna because she has the feminine qualities that I lack, and which I need in to probe the dismal and shadowy parts of my mind; a place I would not go without her by my side.
I've just got a pony themed dream, I was unpacking my backpack for travelling and I had two drawing in there, one had sketch of Numget and the other just a written text BRONY in that classic rd shirt style. Not very exciting but I hope for more pone dreams will come to me soon.

>>5450 I just had a dream my brother (for context, we're both adults and don't live in the same house) was throwing glass jars at me and then blaming me for breaking them when they would hit the floor and shatter. He then got really pissed off and tried to barge into my bedroom (where I was now taking shelter) and I told him, politely but firmly while barring the door, "Go away. We're doing sexo with Rainbow Dash in here." Though there was no Rainbow Dash in my dream and I wasn't having sex with anything at all. I don't think he stopped but the dream ended then and there. I had another similarly stupid pony dream recently but I can't remember that one unfortunately.

not really a pony dream, but... I did have this dream the night after playing Equestria at war I only remember a griffon sliding on a map and pushing other griffons out while saying "damn griffons, they ruined griffonia!"

Alrighty, my turn. Refer to pic I got into mlp a few months ago, with very limited initial knowledge, but at the point of the dream, I had watched up to mid-season 3 of FiM. Flash-forward to a few weeks back and I go off to sleep not thinking about anything MLP related. (At most playing the MLP mod in vintage story a few days prior with friends) >dream begins, description of the room/building: Immediately I am in a castle or some other large stone-block building, it gives off vibes that it was formerly in ruins, but recently has begun renovation. I am in a small room, which I would estimate to be around 7mx10mx10m (BxWxH) in size. The room also reminds me of the Iberian/Mediterranean throne rooms in Crusader Kings 3 (6/10 game imo). I believe I am sitting on some sort of throne, albeit a small one, which resides in the back left corner, with a half wall and column dividing the throne area and the left half/middle of the room. To my direct front, there is a decorative arch on the wall in front of me, but nothing special. To the left of that is a doorway, which is opened to a long hallway with large glass windows, and on both sides of the doorway there are 2 frescoes of the Sisters, with Celestia's being on the side closest to me. Hers has a purple outline showing her details (in the style of the show), with the grey-white of the stone used as color, while the inverse is true with the Luna fresco. On the wall to the right there is a carved mural that I cannot remember the specifics of, but I think Cadence and the Mane 6 were involved, laid in the same aged stone. >the big things I really noticed immediately after taking in the room: My height felt off, I do not think I was human, but I knew I was sitting at my standing human height of ~195cm. After this, Luna enters the room, with a look on her face that implied she was going tell/ask me something, but we were both interrupted by a noise in the room behind the throne room, which after looking over the half-wall, was an open door to a small library with a pile of books in the middle. Not a word was spoken, and after that I woke up.
I had a almost proper pony dream last night. I was walking into a toy shop in some mall and the whole center of it was dedicated to some mlp X Lego collaboration, with the grand piece being a huge ass statue of Twilight in her princes of Equestria dress.
actually just another dream lust night not sure how it started but i'm sure i took liking in riding regular horses but i didn't know how to stop them and my horse was only getting faster and almost ran someone over my friends also mocked me for liking horses only because I like mlp, to which i said yes
