A regular reminder Anonymous 08/28/2021 (Sat) 09:42:51 No. 2252
that Twilight Sparkle is a unicorn who lives in the Treebrary in Ponyville. Equestria is a magical land of ponies ruled by two regal sisters: Princess Celestia who raises the Sun and Princess Luna who raises the moon.

>>3630 This is a really cool picture.
>>2252 Everything that has happened after MMC is just a fever dream caused by the magic backlash that vaporized her. Currently she's in a hospital recovering, but she's still in a deep coma, and everyone is waiting for her to wake up.
>>3677 A coma seems too sad for a pony, maybe we can just say it was all a bad dream?

>>6246 I love bookTwi
>>6245 Why do scarves look so good on ponies? Winter is cuteness overload in Ponyville.
>>6253 Winter time tends to be more cozy overall I think. Whether it's the scarves, the boots, or saddles, it all contributes to more cuteness. I'd love to cuddle with a pony on a cold winter day.
>>6254 >I'd love to cuddle with a pony on a cold winter day. I cuddled a real horse on more than one occasion on winter days and can confirm, it's a supreme cozy experience.
>>6255 You're living the dream Anon.
This needs to be sticky.
>>3681 But it being a bad dream doesn't account for the length of such a thing. I mean, 9 seasons worth? She'd at least have to be out for a week or so.
>>10368 Whoops, slight correction. I should've put 6 seasons' worth. Silly me.
>>10369 Are you sure that you didn't mean 1 and 3/4 seasons?
>>10368 I just opt for classifying everything post season 4 ending and the castle of ugliness to be noncanon in my mind, the equivalent to a poorly translated Brazilian fanfic. It's just less painful that way. Not that there aren't still good episodes but past that point the overall narrative of the show started to derail, and ultimately it devolved too far from it's original ideas to be taken seriously. It's the kind of thing where making a hard cutoff is kind of arbitrary because there is a slow decline, but Twilight's castle just sat so poorly with me that's where I draw it and not later.
>>10372 Twilicorn was terrible and defeated the purpose of the show, which was for Twilight to learn the magic of friendship. There was no reason to make her a princess or alicorn at all and it only served to imply that Twilight would outlive her friends. The castle was very unnecessary as well, because what was wrong with the Treebrary? Why destroy such a structure we had loved and cherished many memories inside of in favor of reinforcing the whole princess thing? Glimmer was handled so poorly I'm amazed they actually lacked enough braincells to make her equally/more powerful than Twilight, the literal element of magic. Her redemption should have been more gradual as a character arc instead of a heel-face turn. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to keep glimmer as more of a "different aspect of magic" sort of thing, but as she was in the show, she wasn't written well.
>>10379 >Twilicorn was terrible and defeated the purpose of the show It is worth considering that Twilicorn was meant to be the ending of the show, and that it was set up for that from the beginning. The only reason it defeated the purpose is because the show went longer than it was originally supposed to, the way it was intended was as a culmination for what proceeded it. Twilight's Element of Harmony was handled differently, and it really makes sense from a world perspective that Princess Celestia would want to raise up another alicorn powerful enough to defend Equestria because she cannot use the Elements of Harmony herself.
>>10380 Well in that case yes. While I forgot to add it in my original post, my argument is exactly that; Twilicorn only would have worked as the series finale
>>10380 >It is worth considering that Twilicorn was meant to be the ending of the show, and that it was set up for that from the beginning. Not exactly. From the Show Bible in regard to Twilight Twinkle/Sparkle: >What Twilight hs yet to learn is that the Queen recognized a tremendous and extraordinary potential in her. The Queen sees that she could one day become the most magical pony in allof Equestria, if only she is exposed to the right conditions. (sic) Conditions which could not be found in a courtly life in Canterbury but only in Ponyville surrounded by the wonders of the world. It does not say that she is going to be a princess. In fact, there were no specific princesses at all in the initial conception of the series, just one queen, Celestia. The "princess = wings + horn" notion grew during the show's run out of now-"Princess" Celestia and Luna having wings and horns. Twilight Twinkle/Sparkle was originally slated to become a powerful mage.

Remember what they took from you
>>10391 Like Star Swirl, who ironically ended up being what caused Twilicorn in the show. If she actually became a mage, it would've been more gradual and made sense rather than Ascension Ex Machina
