Since the very first episode, they've had a model for a pregnant Twilight. Do you think giving Twilight a kid with a season long pregnancy arc would have been out of the question if Faust was still running things?
They'd have to do a romance arc and a marriage arc first, no way Hasbro would have gone for that. Could have done a flash-forward "look into a possible future" type thing though, that could have been neat.

>>28692 Are you proposing the Momma Twi' arc? >Do you think giving Twilight a kid with a season long pregnancy arc would have been out of the question if Faust was still running things? I seriously doubt she would have taken things that far; but, and this is a big but, I wouldn't doubt it toooo much, like I can sorta see it happening almost (if Hasbro was somehow magically fine with it).
>>28695 It would be amusing to see Twilight read all the books on parenting and then discover she is still totally unprepared for it
>>28692 A sequel with a mother Twilight would be nice, but not in FiM unless they did a time-skip. Also I don't remember her being that fat in the episode
Would Twilight having just had a filly/colt with her at the start of the series been better than what we got, considering how Spike turned out in the later seasons?
>>28699 >Replace Spike with Anonfilly from the very start Someone has to have written that fic, right? It'd be fantastic

>>28697 Wonder who the first pony would be to gift her a book on the subject. >>28701 >Someone has to have written that fic, right? If they have I wouldn't mind seeing it. Now that you mention Anonfilly though I gotta say, just how similar would Anonfilly and Spikes personality be to eachother anyways?
>>28698 It was after the Apple Family forced her to eat a ton of their food at Bloompoint.

>>28706 Got hooves and more of a contrarian gremlin than spike, is what I imagine. More proactive and a bad influence on the cmc potentially. That would actually be neat, being more involved in the town with her own adventures and friends, rather than glued to Twilight's side, just being spike doing spike things.

>>28699 Would filly be a little sister? Her daughter? Just some starstruck filly that latched onto her? Although that one might just overlap with the sister angle, in the RD, Scootaloo kinda way. Sister would probably have had the most posibility if being greenlit, but I can't imagine the immediate setup that would make it. "I'm sending you to ponyville, oh and bring your little sister." Daughter would be the most interesting, would be lovely to see, also having an active motherly angle in a show like this. Would personally still prefer the single mother angle, just Twilight and her filly, but I can already imagine the field day the obsessed religious/conservative part of the fandom would have with that.

>>28730 These would all probably lead to funner episodes than what we got with Spike; just have Twilight's daughter be a problem filly that still has a heart. >>28732 >I can already imagine the field day the obsessed religious/conservative part of the fandom would have with that. I'm religious and I still think the teen mom angle could have worked, (even if it would probably have been a bit of a mess) I mean, look at all the people that thought Sweetie Belle or Apple Bloom were daughters of their sisters back in the day; really I think the main thing that would make it ok with Hasbroke is not overstating it too much.
>>28730 All her ideas on finding their cutie marks boil down to "Try this illegal/dangerous thing. Maybe you're good at it, you don't know."
