There have been some threads I go back for, namely one-off threads like the Imgur pony game or any music threads that get brought up (and the lesbian ponies threads, those are always nice), but other than that, that's basically about it.
I think one of the challenges of a smaller board with a smaller userbase is that, other than pony, there's not a whole lot of things about it that we all share an interest in. For example, I'd probably be the only one posting in the /stallion/ thread, and for another anon, it may just be him and one or two other anons in the Fluttershy thread. It'd be a lot less of things coming from the board and more coming from the 20 or so regular anon posters.
So then what would or should be done? This thread seems like it's a good general hangout space like the /mlpg/ threads or /p/ - Random threads are. Should threads be made more general, like just having a /waifu/ thread for posting about the pony you like? People may be generally identifiable for what ponies they post, but not totally so, and a faster thread would keep the more anonymous part of the imageboard alive. Or would posters need to need to make longer posts/ put more energy into effortposting and responding in kind? That's how zerochan does it I'm pretty sure.
But in order to keep posting alive and not scattered in single-anon threads, I feel something would need to be done. But just what is the question
