I somewhat recall not really being a fan of the chromatic range of the instrument she uses, preferring double bass (or at least I kind of conflated the range of the two instruments), and wanting to see if my recollection was correct. And luckily I came across this very simple, but very charming animation of musical ponies to the song. They all get their part, even if it's very short. Everypony is smiling and happy and that makes me happy. The cello-playing is also mostly in its lower ranges, and that's more what I thought it would sound like, so that made me content that not only do I like the pony Octavia, I also like the instrument she's playing, too.
